On November 16th, 2012 Delivery-Acceptance act for the lead multipurpose salvage vessel “Spasatel Karev” project MPSV07 was signed. The vessel was built at Nevsky Shipyard.
The vessel is intended for State Marine Pollution Control and Salvage and Rescue Service of the Russian Federation (Gosmorspassluzhba). She is unique as the vessel can perform a lot of functions. The vessel can be used as a tug, a salvage, a fire-fighting vessel, a diving ship as well as for oil spills response.
The project is developed by Marine Engineering Bureau-Design-SPb, JSC.
