On November 21st, 2012 the dry-cargo vessel “NEVA-LEADER 2”, built at Nevsky Shipyard (On November 12th, 2012 the vessel was delivered to the Customer), completed the loading of rolled steel at the “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” and set off on her maiden voyage to Poland.
The motor vessel is planned to be used at the Baltic Sea basin for transportation of general and bulk cargoes until the end of the year.
General dry-cargo vessels of deadweight 7000 tons RSD49 project are the largest of the existing dry-cargo vessels of “river-sea” type in Russia. The vessels are intended for transportation of general and bulk cargoes including grain, timber, and large-dimension cargoes in the Caspian Sea as well as in the Mediterranean Sea, Black Sea, Baltic Sea, White Sea, North Sea including routes around Europe and on the Irish Sea in winter.
