On December 11, 2013 a solemn opening of exhibition «100 years on fleet service. Russian Maritime Register of Shipping» took place at Rumyantsev mansion in Saint-Petersburg.
The exhibition is dedicated to anniversary of the first national classification society in our country. Among the showpieces there are documents, photographic materials, models of vessels built in different times under the supervision of Register; these showpieces tell the history of establishment and activity of the society.
All the exhibition materials are placed in four thematical halls:
- Register chronicles
- history of classification societies
- history of Russian shipping and Northern Sea Route development
- models of vessels built in different times under the Register supervision
The most of vessels issued by Nevsky Shipyard are constructed under the supervision of Russian Maritime Register of Shipping; therefore our enterprise kindly accepted the invitation to visit the exhibition and provided the model of head multipurpose salvage vessel, capacity 4 MW «SPASATEL KAREV» of MPSV07 project. The vessels of MPSV07 project are the biggest and the most significant vessels built at the expense of Federal Target Program for Russian Transport System Development (2010-2015).
The model of «SPASATEL KAREV» traditionally aroused great interest among the guests and participants of exhibition.
